Anyone who has followed the Solaria saga will hardly be surprised by the email I just received:
So, yes, Joseph Korff continues to peddle his unsold units. Says he:
“We look forward to selling and closing on our remaining homes with the next couple of months.”
I’ll bet!
The hyperbole in the release is a bit hard to take. He says “nearly 4,000 people from the metropolitan and beyond visited homes at Solaria and many thousands more did so online.” Actually, I heard from a pretty reliable source that the number of visitors was around 1,500.
He also maintains that “we see our new buyers as evidence the market is indeed recovering.”
But then, pricing his condos too high demonstrates that Korff is nothing if not an optimist.
The auction results were arguably a near-perfect valuation of his property. The market has spoken loud and clear, but the developer apparently is hard of hearing.
