New entrance to #1, 2, 3 lines is now open

96th St. subway entrance on Manhattan's Upper West Side

Looking south toward W. 96th St. subway entrance.

Under construction forever and, I think, at least on and maybe ahead of schedule, the new entrance to the #1, 2 and 3 subway trains at 96th Street and Broadway on Manhattan’s Upper West Side opened today around noon.

It looks great, though still uncompleted.

I’ll have more and better photos tomorrow.
