The estate auction of ultimately 19 properties in various Queens neighborhoods attracted $2.969 million in winning bids last week.
Withdrawn from the sale was a two-story detached frame house in East Elmhurst, and six of the properties failed to achieve their minimum bids.
The highest bid went for the Elmhurst house shown here; It sold for $500,000, well above the upset price of $319,000. In all, nine properties were hammered down at prices higher than the minimum set by Queens Public Administrator Lois M. Rosenblatt.

Queens Public Administrator Lois Rosenblatt has announced that an estate auction of seven co-ops and 13 houses will be held on March 15 starting at 11 a.m.
Prices range from $55,000 for an apartment in Jamaica and $551,000 for the College Point two-story detached brick houses shown at left.
The estate of Franz Vormittag, the house sits on a 5,000-sf lot and is subject to tenancy. Taxes are $6,677 annually.

This house in Woodside received the highest bid, $601,000, at an estate auction by the Queens County public administrator.
Although five of 21 apartments and houses at an estate auction held yesterday by Queens Public Administrator Lois M. Rosenblatt were withdrawn, every property on the block found a buyer. Bids totaled $4.796,000.

The auction of 21 Queens co-ops and single-family homes is scheduled for Dec. 15.
Public Administrator Lois M. Rosenblatt has set upset prices ranging from $41,000 for a co-op in Jamaica to $453,000 for the single-family house in Little Neck shown at the top. All the properties belong to the estates of owners who left no will.

Although five properties found no bidders, the office of Queens Public Administrator Lois M. Rosenblatt, collected $3.777 million at its auction Tuesday of eight apartments and seven houses “inherited” by the city.
The former Astoria home of the late Eva Zacharaczuk topped the bids by far, going down for $1.41 million.

Eight apartments and seven houses “inherited” by the city, including one in Brooklyn, will be auctioned on Tuesday, Sept. 28, starting promptly at 11 a.m., according to Queens Public Administrator Lois M. Rosenblatt.
The most expensive of the properties is a single-family detached brick house with garage in Bayside, for which the upset price if $525,000.
Inspection of everything on the block is scheduled for Sept. 25 and 26 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

The public administrator in Queens is auctioning off 10 co-ops, one condo and 18 single-family houses, each of them left by owners who died without a will.
The estate auction takes place June 29 at 11 a.m. at 88-11 Sutphin Blvd., Room 62, Jamaica. Inspection will be June 26-27 between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.
